Description:

Blyxa japonica is a good aquatic plant to give the grass like look in a planted aquarium.  Blyxa japonica stays nice and small compared to its cousin Blyxa auberti and can be used in the foreground or midground area of the planted aquarium.  Place the bare root Blyxa in the media to form the desired look and watch them enlarge over time.
