Echinodorus argentinensis

Description:

The aquarium plant Echinodorus argentinensis is one of the largest growing sword plant varieties.  Native to South America Rangeri Sword, as it is more commonly know in the aquarium trade, is popular as an aquarium plant. Echinodorus argentinesis is best used as a background plant in the aquarium.  Echinodorus argentinesis can also be grown emersed as a water garden plant and will reach several feet in height.  Small white flowers are born on long stalks, from which plantlets of Echinodorus argentinesis will form.
