Description:

Heminathus callitrichoides 'Cuba' is very popular as a foreground plant in the aquarium trade.  Hemianthus callitrichoides has very small leaves and grows in a spreading fashion making it one of the shortest options for a foreground plant.  For optimal growth from Dwarf Baby Tears, as it is sometimes referred to, use highlighting and CO2 injections.  Plant several pots through the desired area and watch them spread to form a dense foreground carpet.  If you aren't as patient purchase Hemianthus callitrichoides grown on the cocofiber mats for an instant foreground.
