Common Name:      Nymphaea 'Burgundy Princess'

Nymphaea ‘Burgundy Princess’ blossoms rest delicately on the surface of the water. Strawn hybridized this beautiful hardy waterlily in 1983. The outer petals are blushed red deepening to an intense red at the inner petals. The cuplike flower measures 2-4 inches and float amongst 4-5 inch, medium green, round leaves. This cultivator makes an excellent centerpiece or in contrast with softer color lilies in a small or medium pond.
