Cabomba furcata is a very colorful variety of Cabomba that originates from Central and South America. It has colors ranging from orange to purple and the flowers are purple color also. This is a great addition to add some color to the planted aquarium.

Cryptocoryne moehlmannii
Cryptocoryne moehlmannii is a strong and vigorous Cryptocoryne. It has wide green leaves and creates a great appearance in the aquarium. This is not a very common plant in the trade and so it is a must have for those looking for something different.

Cryptocoryne pontederiifolia
This is another hard to find Cryptocoryne species that is an excellent aquarium plant. It has wide green leaves and is similar to Cryptocoryne moehlmannii in appearance but with a yellow spathe when flowering.

Cryptocoryne undulata
Cryptocoryne undulata is a very vigorous Cryptocoryne that will grow equally well as an aquarium plant or as a terrarium plant. There are two color forms of this aquarium plant and we grow the red form which exhibits a reddish color in the submersed growth. Cryptocoryne undulata gets its name from the wavy leaf margins that enhance its splendor.

Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Florida Sunset'
Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Florida Sunset' will be released to the aquarium plant trade for the first time starting in January 2009. This plant is a selection from Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Mi Oya' with brightly colored leaves ranging in shades from pink to red to yellow. Medium to high light light will help to make the leaf colors brighter but this plant will flourish under all lighting conditions.

Echinodorus 'Red Flame'
Echinodorus 'Red Flame' is a stunning cultivar created by Hans Barth. Like most sword plants it obtains a rather large size and can be used as a center piece for your planted aquarium.

Monosolenium tenerum
Monosolenium tenerum is not a new plant to FAN but we are now growing it on lava rocks which is a new method of production. This is a great addition to the foreground area of a planted aquarium and requires no added work since it is already attached to the rock.

Nesaea pedicellata 'Golden'
Nesaea pedicellata 'Golden' is a new release from Florida Aquatic Nurseries that will be available in January for the first time to the aquarium plant trade. This plant is a selection from Nesaea pedicellata. The brightly colored golden leaves with pink stems will add a nice focal point to any planted aquarium. This plant will grow best under medium to high light.

Proserpinaca pectinata
Unlike it's close cousin Proserpinaca palustris, Proserpinaca pectinata is a decorative plant both in its emersed and submersed form. It has fine, pinnate leaves in both forms and the submersed plant is a bright orange, red color. This plant never gained popularity even though it has been around for years. This is a must have for the aquarium owner who wants something different and exciting.
