
Nymphaea 'Blue Aster'
Nymphaea 'Blue Aster' was the International Waterlily and Water Garden Society Best New Waterlily for 2005. Hybridized by Charles Winch in Australia it displays large bluish purple flowers with many petals. The pads of this plant are also quite stunning with heavy mottling. It is a vigorous grower and is a great medium sized waterlily. This would make a nice addition to any size pond or water garden.

Nymphaea 'Bull's Eye'
We are excited to introduce Nymphaea 'Bull's Eye' for 2010. Hybridized by Florida Aquatic Nurseries, this is the reddest tropical waterlily on the market today. We feel that this is one of best hybrids ever! Nymphaea 'Bull's Eye' has a large burgundy red flower with over 70 petals that it holds high above the water. A very vigorous grower with green pads this will be the focal point of any pond or water garden. Available in limited quantities.

Nymphaea 'Charlie's Pride'
Nymphaea 'Charlie's Pride' was hybridized in Australia by Charles Winch. One of the reddest tropical lilies available on the market today this flower will stand out in any pond or water garden. Bright green pads allow the flowers a nice backdrop to stand out against.

Nymphaea 'Ultra Violet'
Nymphaea 'Ultra Violet' was the Best New Waterlily in the International Waterlily and Water Garden Society's 2008 competition. Large purple flowers with up to 70 petals are enhanced by a bright yellow center. The pads are maroon red in color with slightly mottled streaks. This overall appearance is eye catching from quite a distance. Hybridized by Florida Aquatic Nurseries we are proud to be able to introduce this plant so quickly to the commercial market. Available in limited quantities.

Bloody Dock (Rumex sanguineous)
This colorful hardy marginal plant has been around the industry for several years, but is available for the first time from Florida Aquatic Nurseries. Bright red veins create an intriguing look to the leaves.

Bog Bean (Menyanthes trifoliata)
Commonly known as Bog Bean this hardy marginal plant is a very vigorous grower. A great plant for areas where low height is required Bog Bean creates a carpet like appearance. Delicate white flowers adorn the green background throughout the summer.

Hibiscus 'Sunrise' (Hibiscus acetosella 'Sunrise')
A seedling of the Red Night Booming Hibiscus (Hibiscus acetosella) Hibiscus ' Sunrise' displays bright yellow flowers with a red throat that are open during the night and into the morning . The leaves are reddish green with pink backing and similar in shape to its parent. This plant resembles a Japanese maple in leaf shape and color, but has the added benefit of bright yellow flowers. Hibiscus ' Sunrise' is an excellent tropical marginal for the North or can be a perennial in the South. This plant will thrive both in the water and out in the landscape, so don't be afraid to try it in different places. Selected and produced at Florida Aquatic Nurseries, 2010 will be the first year that this plant is available

Marsh Marigold is a great spring flowering hardy marginal plant. Bright yellowish orange flowers cover this plant completely and make for quite a show. It is a nice low growing plant for the pond or water garden and can be used in many different areas.

Lavender Monkey Flower (Mimulus Ringens)
Lavender Monkey Flower is a great native hardy marginal plant. Lavender flowers adorn the spikes of growth throughout the summer months. Growing several feet in height it makes or a great soft background on your pond or water garden.
