Limnophila indica

There are a number of fine-leafed Limnophila species that can be impossible to differentiate unless they are gown emersed and flowered. This old fashioned aquarium stand-by is one of them. It is native to the warmer parts of the old world, but can also be found introduced to areas of the United States and South America. Limnophila indica is a commendable beginner plant that will thrive even without supplemental CO2 and with only moderate light levels, though it will be bushier and grow faster better growth conditions.
