Monosolenium tenerum

Monosolenium tenerum was originally introduced to the aquarium world as “Pellia” and the name was later corrected. As a result, you will still sometimes see the name “Pellia” used for this little plant. Monosolenium tenerum is an aquatic liverwort, and can be used very effectively in the aquarium. It can be used similarly to Riccia, tied onto stones in the bottom of the tank, without Riccia’s annoying habit of floating to the surface to become a nuisance.
